Display flickers up and down and stops flickering when I turn on Air conditioner

My display starts flickering up all of the sudden. I tried resetting EC, uninstalling and reinstalling display drivers and resetting OS but none of them worked. Magically the display stops flickering when I turn my air conditioner on. When I turn my Air conditioner off the flicker starts again after sometime. I don't know what the problem actually is. Someone help

Hello Sun_Walker,

Your display flickering issue seems closely tied to electrical or electromagnetic interference, likely increase by the operation of your air conditioner. By addressing power supply stability, reducing interference, checking your connections and equipment, and contacting your system manufacturer if necessary.

Kindly try the following below:

  • Try plugging your computer and monitor into a different electrical outlet, preferably one that is on a different circuit from your air conditioner.
  • Ensure that your computer and monitor are not placed near any other large electronic devices besides the air conditioner. This includes refrigerators, fans, or other appliances that might be contributing to the interference.
  •  If possible, connect your computer to a different monitor to see if the problem persists. This will help you determine if the issue is with the monitor or another part of the setup.
  • Although you've reinstalled drivers and reset the OS, there could be a hardware-related problem. Try to run Enhanced Pre-boot System Assessment

Additionally, please run the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* and send the logs here. This will help us diagnose the issue and isolate the main problem
