The game stop responding without a crash log.
The game loads 99% after the intro and then stops responding, at what i think is the menu sometimes(i can only read "Campaign" written as it freezes so i'm not really sure).
The screen becomes useless and I'm not even able to close the game, forcing me to restart after trying.
Although the graphics don't work, i can still hear audio output from the Menu screen track. Which means it's clearly a GPU problem.
I'm currently running the game on a Windows 10 with the latest Beta Driver v4474.
Attached my intel information dump from graphics properties.
Also, i'll be more than glad to provide you with any other information you need. Even test options if need be. I just need a definitive answer that it'll work in the next 12 days, because if my graphics card isn't supported i can still refund.

I have to confirm that the game loads the menu screen with this driver version: 20.19.15.4501
This driver was installed by the Windows Update service on my Windows 10 64 bits (v 1607 - C 14393.321)

Hi D-martins,
According to the release notes of the Beta driver and latest official driver 4463 the crash/hang in Doom (2016) was fixed.
Please let me know if you have the same issue with the latest official driver 4463.

It doen't seem to be fixed in the HD 4600.
I installed v4463 even before the latest beta and it crashes with 0xC0000005 (Access Violation) error.

Hi D-martins,
I have requested the game to my upper manager in order to replicate the issue with HD graphics 4600. The last official document says that the issue was resolved. Please bring me 2 or 3 business days.
Thank you for your patience in advance.

Hi D-martins,
Thank you for your patience. We have tested the game in our lab and these are our findings.
It was not possible to start the game at full screen using the latest driver 4474.
We were able to run the game with this workaround:
It is necessary to get the latest update of the game then start the game in windowed mode, lower down settings around 60% and finally change mode to full screen.
Please take into consideration that this is a very high end game, which requires plenty of "juice" which forces the CPU.
We use the hardware below:
-OS: Windows 10* Home 64-bit Version 1607 (Build 14393.51)
-CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-4702HQ Processor
-iGPU: Intel® HD Graphics 4600
-iGPU graphics driver: 10.18.15.4271
-dGPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M (disabled for the tests)
-Motherboard Model: Dell XPS 15 9530
-BIOS Version: A04
-RAM: 16GB

Hi D-martins,
Verify if you already have installed the latest version of the game in your pc before playing.

Thanks but, I checked already and i'm running the latest version of the game.
This workaround i can't figure it out though.
How can i start it in windowed mode and lower settings if i can't get to the settings menu?
Also, you tested on a completely different setup, how can i know this is anything like my problem?
EDIT: I was able to do everything you said to get the workaround running without going through the menu and game still isn't able to open menu.
The question now is will intel fix it?

Really, it's a legit question. Release notes says it's fixed, and you saw for yourself it isn't.
Any ETAs?

Hi D-martins,
We have confirmed the issue you are experiencing is related to the amount of RAM in your system.
Doom requires at least 8GB of RAM to work, plus additional memory for video, however, the integrated graphics are taking (shares) memory from the RAM so the game is no capable to run in your system.
It is necessary to add more RAM in your computer. I suggest you 16GB or at least 12GB.

Hi:
I have the same problem and I have 16 GB or RAM.
The game loads 99% after the intro and then stops responding and I can still hear audio output from the Menu screen track.
The screen becomes useless and I have to kill the process to quit the game.
Sometime ago I tried the alpha version of the game and I played it with older drivers.
I do not understand why with the lastest official intel drivers the problems persists.

Yes, that's because they really don't want it to be their fault.
I solved the problem. I wasn't going to post in here just because how angry i was about them always trying to make you spend more money just to fix a simple software issue.
But since you're having the problem as well.
First off, update your intel drivers to v4501.
Then disable shared RAM with your video card in BIOS..
It should be working.

I am afraid that Intel drivers v4501 (20.19.15.4591) stucks at 99% and I still hearing the audio output in Windows 10.
I have tried Windows 7 but the lastest drivers are version 15.36 and the game doesn't start.

Make sure you also have the latest version of the game.
And by the way, can you link me to the version you downloaded?

Can this issue be closed?
I see that you guys are reporting that the game menu does not freeze after loading driver version 4501.
Thank you all for your feedback.
Allan.

Is there any fixes to this or do I have to change my graphic card?
System information:

Thank for for any answer that can help me...
Cheers,
D
