I always like to use NanaZip/WinRAR unzip the driver files to a not system disk directory. Then click Installer.exe to install the driver.
Why recent graphics driver files always have checksum errors happened when using NanaZip and WinRAR unzip the .exe files ?
Would the checksum error be a problem after I install the driver by this way?
Version 32.0.101.6793 has no checksum error happened.
I hope all future driver files no checksum error happen like 32.0.101.6793! 😘
I'm really OCD.😭
❌32.0.101.6795 has Checksum Error.
✅32.0.101.6793 No Checksum Error.
❌32.0.101.6790 has Checksum Error.
❌32.0.101.6739 has Checksum Error.
❌32.0.101.6737 has Checksum Error.
...
I did check the SHA256 all the same.

Hi, Jeremy_Wu.
Thank you for posting in our Community. Your diligence in verifying driver integrity is appreciated, especially considering the consistency you've noted across different versions. The checksum error you're encountering when using NanaZip or WinRAR to extract Intel driver .exe packages is likely rooted in how newer drivers are being packaged, rather than a corruption in the files themselves.
I would like to clarify the following:
- Have you tried running the .exe directly without unzipping it first?
- (Intel’s installer often unpacks itself into %TEMP% and handles all integrity checks internally.)
- Are you running NanaZip/WinRAR as an administrator when extracting the files?
- (File permission issues can also lead to checksum anomalies.)
- Have you tested using 7-Zip or the built-in Windows zip extractor to compare results?
- Are you running any real-time antivirus software that could be interfering with archive integrity during extraction?
- Could you kindly provide your system’s Intel SSU (System Support Utility) logs? This will help me gather more detailed information, particularly the exact GPU model, and determine whether your system is utilizing an integrated or discrete Intel GPU, as I noticed that you're installing the driver using the .exe package from the Intel Download Center, and this context will help ensure accurate guidance. For your privacy and security, I have already sent you an email to collect the SSU reports. Once I receive the logs, I can investigate further and provide better assistance.
Additionally, if you have done any other steps or fixes, please let me know the details so we don't cover the same ground twice.
Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello, Jeremy_Wu.
Just to add, I noticed that your system's language is set to a non-English locale. Could you please translate the content into English? This will allow me to review the information more thoroughly and provide accurate guidance.
Have a nice day!

- I used to install the driver by running the .exe directly without unzipping first but I don't like it poops in the directory C: disk eventhough in the temp directory. My personal favourite way.
- I tried both running NanaZip/7-zip as the administrator and not administrator ways. All show "Warning: Checksum error".
- 7-Zip shows the same result with NanaZip. I dont know how to use Windows built-in zip extractor to extract .exe files.
I dont use any other extra antivirus softwares. Only Windows 11 built-in default Windows Security. I dont think any antivirus software would be a problem because I do the same with 32.0.101.6793 file, no problem shown.
- I attached Intel SSU logs but I dont think this is related to hardwares because 32.0.101.6793 has no problem.

Hello, Jeremy_Wu.
Thank you for your thorough update and for sharing your preferred installation method, along with the troubleshooting steps you've already taken. I appreciate the clarity and the attached Intel SSU logs.
Based on your observations, the fact that you're receiving a "Checksum error" when extracting the driver package using NanaZip or 7-Zip (both as admin and non-admin) suggests that the file may have become corrupted during download. Your note that version 32.0.101.6793 extracts and installs without issue further reinforces the possibility that the issue is isolated to the 32.0.101.6874 package you received, not your hardware, OS, or antivirus configuration.
In the meantime, I see your concern and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello, Jeremy_Wu.
Thank you for your patience. Just to set your right expectations that I’d like to clarify that extracting or unzipping the installer is neither a required step nor a scenario we officially support. As a result, we will not be able to investigate the Checksum Error you encountered during that process.
Rest assured, this will have no impact on a successful driver installation or its related components. Simply running the original, non‐unzipped installer will allow you to install the driver and all associated software as intended.
Thank you for your understanding, and please let us know if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
Von M.
