Hi, I recently tried updating to the latest beta driver (4090) from 4032 WHQL. The installation failed giving me the error shown in the image. After uninstalling the driver using DDU I tried to reinstall 4032 but now this one shows the same error.
I tried to disable/enable SVM and re-bar in my bios, and to install it from both Intel's driver utility & directly downloading the driver from the website, but without any success unfortunatly.

Hello boazvdw
Thank you for posting on the Intel Communities. I am sorry to hear that you are facing issues when trying to install the graphics drivers. Please let's try the following:
- Reseat the GPU on the PCI slot and make sure all cables are properly connected1
- Reset your Bios to default settings.
- Try a clean installation of the drivers following the instructions in this article.
If the issue persists, please let us know the following information:
- Does the issue happen in the middle of the installation? Or do you get the error message right after clicking the install button?
- Please run the Intel® System Support Utility and attach the log file.
Best Regards,
Hugo O.

Hi Hugo,
Thank you for your time. I've managed to resolve the issue by running the drivers executable using administrator privileges. I was worried about future updates and whether it would break again, however I just received a new update and it's still working.
The issue happened in the middle of my installation right before/after it was trying to install the control panel. Resetting bios or enabling SVM didn't work. Also I didn't try to reseat / recable my GPU since it looks to be fine, and had been working fine before, so I'm pretty sure it's software related.
Please let me know if you need any further information.
Kind regards,
Boaz

Hello boazvdw
I am glad that you were able to resolve the issue. The installation of the Intel® Arc™ Control does require administrator privileges, so it makes sense that this worked for you. Please check the following article for more information:
Known Issues with Intel® Arc™ Control
Thank you for taking the time to share this fix, and hopefully, it may help other community members experiencing similar behavior. Since the thread is now solved, we will proceed to close it.
