Driver & support assistant (23.2.17.8) did install 31.0.101.4369.
After doing so it now reports that a custom driver has been installed and it won't update or search for graphics updated driver anymore.
Serious issue.

Thank you for posting on the Intel Communities. I am sorry you are experiencing an error message after updating your graphics driver to the latest version.
Please share a screenshot of the error message so we can get more information about it, also create a log file with the Intel® System Support Utility and attach it to your response to get more information on the hardware configuration.
