Drivers for older intel atom (x5-z8350)

Hello!
I recently purchased an Atomic Pi, basically an intel based single board computer, and I am having trouble finding drivers. almost everyone I've asked has sent me to the cherry-trail designated drivers, however, the installer prompts a message saying my system does not meet the minimum requirements. 32-bit drivers just don't even launch. I am running Windows 10, and the CPU in question is an Atom X5-z8350. if it helps, it has an HD 400 igpu. (not 4000, 400)
I am waiting from a response from Digital Loggers (the company that produced the board) and decided to check here if anyone had them. I have also tried every driver that should work for older atoms with the same IGPU with no success. Linux also doesn't work, and the Intel automatic driver installer doesn't recognize the chip, nor does Intel's site actually supply a driver link on the CPU page.
Any help is greatly appreciated, as I would like to change the refresh rate and resolution plus do light emulating and the Microsoft display adapter is not doing me any favors.
Thanks in advance!
