Hi,

I am trying to set up dual monitors with VGA cable. I have a splitter that is connected to laptop. Male VGA cables are connected to female VGA part of the splitter. The splitter recognizes 1 monitor but the 2nd monitor is not recognized. I used to use laptop screen as my second screen but I bought another monitor not to use the laptop screen as my 2nd monitor but it is not working as I intended. I would appreciate your help.

Using the splitter on VGA, you likely will never have the second monitor recognized.  Plus, your primary monitor will only be mirrored to the second monitor.

Also, using splitters is not supported.

So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Download, run, and save the results of this utility as a text file:

Then ATTACH the text file using the instructions under the reply window ( Drag and drop here or browse files to attach ).
