One thing that might be worth considering is the role of your power setup. Sometimes, insufficient or unstable power can lead to unexpected artifacts and glitches, especially when running demanding applications like emulators. If you're using a standard power strip, it might be beneficial to upgrade to a more robust solution like the Volt Power Distribution Strip ap8841. This model is designed to provide stable power distribution, which could help reduce or eliminate artifacts by ensuring that your system is consistently getting the power it needs.

But since in using a laptop how do I change the power setup? Also I'm using an outlet. But I might try using throttlestop to change power.

Hello Devin2fire
To assist you effectively and resolve your issue, I need some additional information. Kindly provide answers to the following questions:
- Are your graphics drivers up to date? If not, have you tried updating them to the latest version?
- Which version of the Xenia emulator are you using? Have you tried using a different version to see if the issue persists?
- Have you noticed any performance differences or system errors when switching between DX12 RTV/DSV and DX12 ROV or Vulkan?
- Is your laptop set to high-performance mode? Sometimes, power settings can affect rendering performance and cause artifacts.
- Could you share specific settings from your configuration file that might be relevant to this issue? This could help in identifying any potential misconfigurations.
- Are you running any other software that might interfere with the emulator’s performance, such as screen recording tools or overlays?
These questions can help narrow down the potential causes and lead to a more targeted solution. If you can provide more details, especially from your configuration file, it would be easier to offer specific recommendations.

Hello Devin2fire,
Upon consulting with our engineer, I wanted to provide you with some important information and next steps.
Please note that the tool you are using is an emulator. Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to provide further assistance using actual Xbox games unless you can supply a homebrew code for replication. This will enable us to better understand the issue and potentially escalate it to our driver development team.
For your convenience, you may refer to the project website for more information: Xenia Project Website https://github.com/xenia-project/xenia and then you can contact us through this platform and provide a sample homebrew code that we can use for testing.

Hello Devin2fire,
Homebrew code is software made by independent developers. This kind of software often runs on devices like game consoles and old computers.
For your convenience, you may refer to the project website for more information: Xenia Project Website https://github.com/xenia-project/xenia and then you can contact us through this platform and provide a sample homebrew code that we can use for testing.

Hello Devin2fire,
Unfortunately, I'm unable to further assist you as licensing restrictions prevent us from replicating the issue. I will now close this inquiry.
If you have any other questions, please create a new ticket as this case will not be monitored.
Thank you for your understanding.
