Enshrouded crashes during game intro, Arc 750

Here are the last few lines from the game log:
[E 00:00:23,202] [graphics] vkQueueSubmit 'Frame' failed with error 'VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST'
[E 00:00:23,202] [graphics] Vulkan device lost...
[E 00:00:23,202] Stopping process due to unrecoverable GPU crash!

I just updated drivers today, 32.0.101.5989, released 9/4/2024.

5989 is not  WHQL certified, so downgrade to 5972.

Thanks for the response, I may give that a try.   The auto driver update had not worked in a very long time, so I just installed the "latest" drivers shown on the product page.

I was able to get it to run by doing the following ( not sure which of the two solved the issue )

  • Ran in windows mode instead of full screen
  • skipped the intro
