First time here.
I have tried several times to install the Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.33] that Intel support assistant discovered I didn't have. I download, install it, restart (according to message). After restart the same driver wants to be installed again. As if it didn't install. I have tried a few times. Same negative results. Sometimes after restart there is also an error message that something went wrong and that data is collected if I want. Then Windows starts up as normal, but without having installed anything.
Anyone know what could be the prolblem? Please see attached the gathered Intel information.

I presume you mean from Intel Driver & Support Assistant. This is an IDSA issue and was supposedly fixed by the new IDSA release last Friday. If a reinstall of IDSA does not fix this issue, let us know.
If is does continue to loop, please create a ZIP file containing all of the files in folder C:\ProgramData\Intel\DSA\Logs and attach this ZIP file to your response post (drag ZIP file from File Explorer to the box titled Drag and drop here or browse files to attach).
After that, go into IDSA and hide this update. Rest assured it is not an issue of the driver not installing the first time.

The latest (and last, I believe) graphics driver for Intel HD Graphics 4000 is version 5161. According to the report, your system is listed as already having this version installed. If Intel Driver and Support Assistant continues to (incorrectly) say that an update is available, you should hide this update.
Hope this helps,

Thanks. I really appreciate it.
Any thoughts on why Intel Support thinks I don't have it installed?

I tried reinstall the assistant, but with no luck. It still says my system lacks the driver.
After hiding/ignoring the update it says my system is up to date though.
I don't know what to do now
