My operating system is: Windows 8.1 64-bit

Inter(r) HD Graphics 4600, version 10.18.10.3304

I'm trying to update to the latest graphics driver, but every-time I try to install it, I get an error message that says " The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer."I went to Lenovo website, and their most current Intel video driver is 10.18.10.3304 (http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page?)

I'm trying to install this:

File name:

win64_153318.exe

Version:

15.33.18.64.3496

Date:

03/11/2014

Status:

Latest

Size:

140.24 MB

Language:

Multi language

Operating Systems:

Windows 7 (64-bit)*, Windows 8, 64-bit*, Windows 8.1, 64-bit*

Are there any solutions to this problem?

The message you are getting is probably indicating that your system uses customized drivers from the computer manufacturer.

However, you may want to try the following process:

  1. Uninstall Intel® HD Graphics. http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034574.htm Graphics — Uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel Display/HDMI Audio Driver
  2. Restart your system.
  3. Manually install Intel® HD Graphics driver. http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-033916.htm Desktop graphics drivers — How to Manually Install a Driver in Microsoft Windows 8* or Windows 8.1*

If this does not work you will need to use the driver provided by the system manufacturer.
