With the same settings, the FPS on the A770 is not as high as my old computer's NVIDIA GPU. I don't think this is a hardware issue, but a driver error. Please make more adjustments to improve this problem.

Hi NullPoEx,

Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. I appreciate your message and want to assure you that I’m here to assist you with your concern. To better understand the issue and provide accurate support, could you please share the following details:

  • Are you using the same monitor setup on both systems (resolution, refresh rate, panel type)?
  • Could you provide the full hardware specifications of your old system, including CPU model, total RAM, and motherboard details? for proper comparison.
  • What is the wattage and brand/model of the power supply currently powering the Intel Arc A770?
  • Did you perform a clean driver installation using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove old/current drivers before installing/updating graphics drivers?
  • Are the games or applications you're testing exactly the same versions as those used on your old system?
  • Which specific games or applications are showing reduced FPS on the A770? Please provide screenshots or video recordings of low FPS along with the GPU Usage percentage and GPU temperature
  • What are the actual frame rate numbers you’re seeing when comparing the A770 to your previous NVIDIA GPU? Do they have big difference? Will you be able to provide approximate values?
  • What in-game graphics settings are being used for each system? are they both running same in-game settings?
  • Is Resizable BAR (ReBAR) enabled in your BIOS configuration?
  • Are you using DirectX 12 for both of your system?
  • Are there any background programs or overlays running that might be impacting performance?

Additionally, to help us better understand your system configuration and provide accurate support, we kindly request that you share the Intel® System Support Utility (SSU) logs from your device. These logs contain important details about your hardware and software environment, which are crucial for troubleshooting.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Download and run the Intel® SSU application.
  2. The tool will generate a text file containing your system information.
  3. Refer to this guide for detailed instructions: Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility
  4. Once completed, please attach the generated file to your response.

If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
