Hello xyz123,
Thank you for posting in the Intel communities. We would be more than happy to help you with the problem that you are not able to change the game settings to run the game in Directx 12.
Based on this issue, we would like to ask for the following:
- Was there another update besides the Windows update? Maybe a Graphics driver update?
- Is there an error message when you try to change to DirectX 12?
- Provide us with a system report using the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* so we can check more details about your system configuration:
- Open the application and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel®️ SSU will take you to the "Summary View."
- Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
- To save your scan: click "Next"; then "Save."
Best regards

Well I kinda resolved this issue but I'm not quite happy. I guess it's windows 11 being buggy but, I was able to revert back to windows 10 and it resolved it but when I did have windows 11 I got no warnings it was just stuck on directx 11

Hello xyz123,
Since you have confirmed that the issue is now solved after reverting to Windows 10, it seems that the problem was related to your Windows 10 installation. Based on this we recommend you contact Microsoft Support for further support.
Best regards
