When using Chrome to watch online videos normally, color blocks and flickering suddenly appear on the screen. After a few seconds, there is no signal output from the graphics card, but the background audio is still playing. I can only reboot the system. System Event Viewer shows that the Intel graphics driver stopped responding.
I turned off hardware acceleration in Chrome from the 17th to today, and there is still an upload problem, but I opened Chrome to browse the web, not watch videos, just play games.
The same thing happens with other programs
There is a GSCX64 event

Hello Jamas94,
Thank you for your patience. After investigating the matter, we would like to mention that based on the BSOD with igdkmdnd64.sys and its random occurrence across various applications and games, it is more likely a hardware issue. Although issues triggered by specific games or apps can be due to driver issues, the symptoms you have described are more aligned with hardware at this point. However, we would like to ask you a couple of things:
- Have you tested a clean Operating System Installation to rule out any corrupted files or any other factors?
- What is the model of the Power Supply you are using?
Best regards,
Jean O.

Yesterday, I installed a clean system from a USB flash drive, deleted BOOST and other partitions on the hard disk and reformatted it.
Currently the 4972 driver will appear

Also, when I was playing Uncharted 4, the game crashed and the following warning event occurred.
Monitor driver igfxnd stopped responding and was successfully recovered.

Then I tested the GPU stress test of aida64 and the following picture attachment prompt appeared.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today there was only an error event of exiting the game while playing DOTA2.
I also tested that the screen automatically turns off after 3 minutes and the system automatically goes to sleep after an hour. After sleeping and waking up after an hour, the keyboard can be operated, but there is no video signal output.
Currently, time is limited and only these issues have been tested.

Hello Jamas94,
The issue remains even after a clean installation of the Operating System. You mentioned that you have a 550W power supply, and it would be ideal to note that, based on the system requirements for the Intel Arc A-series graphics, we recommend using a 600W PSU for your graphics cards. Based on this information, we recommend you test with a 600W PSU to confirm the issue is still in use when using a PSU that meets the system requirements.
Best regards,
Jean O.

This is a standby problem. The load is not high, and there is currently no flickering screen. However, there is a chance that a black screen will appear when waking up from standby, making it impossible to wake up the system correctly.
And this power supply has enough margin and can output up to 650W.

Hello Jamas94,
We understand that the issue occurs even if the system load is not high. However, it is important to mention that the PSU is rated to output 550W of continuous power on a regular basis, and it can also output 700W of peak power, which is the maximum amount of power the PSU can output for short periods of time. To diagnose the problem, it would be ideal if you can try using a different PSU that has been validated to work on 600W of continuous power, meeting the system requirements for Intel Arc A770 graphics. This will help us determine if the issue is related to the PSU. Please let us know if it is possible for you to test this.
Best regards,
Jean O.

Currently I have no other power supply. I use the AMDR9 290 graphics card (nearly 400 watts) and AMD 5700XT (around 225 watts) with higher power consumption. It has been stable for so many years and has higher power consumption than the A770. In theory, this power supply is not suitable for the A770. It should be easy to get a card with a power of 200 watts. My CPU and memory are not overclocked and the power consumption is not high.
Currently, error events triggered by DOTA2 can easily lead to a black screen. Even if the keyboard can be operated, Ctrl+Shift+Win+B cannot be used to restart the graphics card driver.

Hello Jamas94,
We understand that you are unable to try another power supply, and the system works without any errors when using other graphics cards with similar TDPs. We will proceed to look into this matter internally once again, and we will be posting back as soon as we have more details.
Best regards,
Jean O.

5074 seems to have solved some random black screen situations. Now I have not had a system black screen for more than a week. However, Uncharted 4 will crash sometimes and can only be reset by clearing the pre-rendered cache. I will continue to test the new driver in the future.
