Hello how are you? I'm new here and I'm not very familiar with the protocols to get support but even so, if I can help, I would be very grateful.

I have this old notebook and I don't have the money to buy a new one, so I would like to improve its visual performance. I would like to know if there is anything I can do about these specifications (https://dpaste.org/SP6n). Remembering that my operating system is Linux Mint.
I thank the attention.

The only way to improve your performance is to increase the amount of DRAM memory available to the system. The 3 Series chipsets can support up to 8MB of memory, though the platform implementation could artificially limit you to less. Both graphics engine (which is also in the chipset) and processor performance can be improved with more memory being available.

Also, we would like to inform you that due to the Graphics Drivers for Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family has been discontinued, Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for it, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help. You may also find the Discontinued Products website helpful to address your request.
