I ran into the same issue with similar hardware (i5 - 4570s -- HD 4600).
The driver that Microsoft Update is delivering for HD 4400 / HD 4600 (20.19.15.4474) on Windows 7 x64 has no support for Haswell graphics on Windows 7 x64. The .inf file is missing Haswell support for Windows 7, the .cat file is sha256 signed (Win8+) instead of sha1 (Win7).
Here's a screenshot of the driver in the Microsoft Update listings:
And here's the Windows 7 device ID list from the .inf file from the driver package that attempts to be installed:
iBDW* = Broadwell
iCHV* = Pentium / Celeron afaik...
iSKL* = Skylake
In short, that driver shouldn't be delivered by Microsoft Update for Haswell graphics on Windows 7 x64, as it is not compatible with it. I'm not sure why it's there, honestly. In any case, I would just hide the update for now, since your current graphics driver is the latest available from Intel.

Hi All,
The latest graphics driver for 4th generation processors is 4414. Intel provides with generic drivers through the website downloadcenter.intel.com. From here you can confirm which the latest version per operating system is.

Bear in mind they are generic and might not work on pre-build systems.

Do we really need this driver update? I don't want to damage my machine. It's pre-built.
