I have an HP ZBook Fury 17.3 inch G8 Mobile Workstation with a 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11500H @ 2.90GHz and 32 GB ram running Windows 11 Pro 64 24H2.
The Intel graphics driver is version 32.0.101.6314.
Since the update to this driver I have been receiving Window's message "Process not responding" after 3-4 seconds when running a Visual Basic executable that rebuilds some data files in a bookkeeping program.
The program starts and displays changing program data on the screen (it is "pumping" to the screen), then the Window's message appears and the display stops changing. However, the program continues to run in the background and at completion the screen updates to the bookkeeping program's normal display indicating that the rebuild is done.
It seems to me that the interaction between the Intel driver and the new method Windows 11 uses to detect when a program is hanging, does not seem to be working correctly in my computer.
Of course it may just be a Windows 11 bug but I'm exploring all areas.
Any comments are greatly appreciated.
