Hi Jaider,
Did you experience this issue with 2867? Or did it happen with both 2867 and 2875?
Also, can you provide a copy of your dxdiag? (Start -> Run -> dxdiag -> Save All Information -> Paste text into forum text box).
Thanks,
-Nic

Run a system BIOS update. It's saying "Default System Bios" instead of providing the actual version number.. Here's the download for the latest though; http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/inspiron-14r-n4110?driverId=H6PF5&osCode=W864&fileId=3080412997 Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]

There might be an issue with you using a generic Intel® driver for your laptop. You might need to use your OEM provided one instead. Here is the link; http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/inspiron-14r-n4110 http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/inspiron-14r-n4110
The top driver there; 8.15.10.2455 might work better for you. Give it a try and let me know how it goes!
Thanks,

This problem started when I updated all my drivers, before that everything were ok..
What can I do? Thanks...

Has this system ever had Win7 on it? If so, did it experience these issues then? I can see from the Dell site that the system is supposed to be able to support Windows 8.. Just out of curiosity, does it work fine with the beta drivers? http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21757&keyword=2792&lang=eng Download Center

Yes, It had Win7, and has Win8 three months ago.
It worked fine with the last Beta driver.. the problem started when I updated all my drivers.
I'm going to test that beta driver, and I'll tell you how it goes..

Hi, I got the same problem. I just installed the latest HD 3000 driver and everything just went red! So to solve this issue, I tried to download (eventhough i could barely see anything!) the previous version. This solved the problem. Can you please check the update, because I think there must be some error in it.

Hi Laurens,
Can you provide a copy of both your dxdiag (start -> run -> dxdiag -> Save All Information) & your Intel® Graphics Driver Report please? (Ctrl + Alt + F12 -> Options & Support -> Information Center -> Save).
Additionally, can you verify what driver version # you attempted to install that resulted in the red-screen?
Thank you,

I fully reinstalled windows to factory settings, since I still had some troubles.
Haven't attempted to update now. The latest driver is downloading (the one posted in my first reply)... Wondering what the outcome will be!.

Thanks for the info Laurens. If after installing this driver, your screen goes red again - you can restart your computer in safe mode, and that will allow you to uninstall the driver without having to worry about dealing with a red-screen (safe mode uses the default Microsoft* driver, and thus would not have the same issue). That being said, you may be better off using the latest driver provided by your OEM. I can help you find it if you provide me the full model name of your system. HP* DV7, and then a few numbers/letters should be the complete name.
Thanks,
-Nic

Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply. I think the number is: HP-DV7-6C80EB.
I just got it back from repairs (send to HP), and on the label it says this number.
Kind regards,
Laurens

It looks like 2476 is the latest provided by your OEM. Were there any issues you experienced before upgrading to it to 3062? If not, I would recommend sticking with that driver until your OEM releases a newer one.

Hi Nic,
Well yes I experienced some problems with the current version. I play some games and it always crashes with this version, I once downloaded the latest version but then some other problems arised, such as a load of errors at starup, etc.. , but not a fully red screen! (but then I could play the game without any crashes!)
Just now, I just tried to download and install the latest version , but unfortunately.. my screen went fully red again so I listened to your advise and restored to an earlier 'save'.
So is there any solution you can think of?
Kind regards,
Laurens

Hi Nic,
Thanks again for replying. So a little more information about the 'red' screen:
When I start up my computer, everything is normal until I'm at my desktop. Then suddenly it's like a colour change. Everything becomes red, just like you would wear red glasses and look at your computer. Some things are really so (dark) red that you can't read it, or see it, such as some text, or even symbols.
Everything else remains the same. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures.
Kind regards,
Laurens
