Acer will have (or should have) a support/download page for your specific laptop.  The is where ALL necessary drivers SHOULD be.

Do you backup your system?

Do you have checkpoints on?

You should be using the driver provided by your laptop manufacturer.

If you want to use the Intel generic driver, sure, go ahead, but backups and checkpoints are good things for you to be familiar with.

Ask your laptop manufacturer if you can use the Intel generic driver.

I haven't backed up my system yet. I bought my laptop (Acer Aspire 7 A715 - 51G i5 12th gen & 3050 4 GB) on 18 June 2023.
How can I update my graphic driver from the laptop manufacturer?
