Do you have another adapter, like nvida or amd? Are you a laptop or desktop?
If desktop, and you have another adapter, it is very likely that that adapter has disabled Intel graphics. So, check your bios.
If laptop, do you have dual graphics, or has the laptop manufacturer chosen to use amd or nvidia, and disable Intel?
