I'm experiencing the same problem I've read many others have had as when powering up PC just along about the first video i put on or update news etc. (video) the grey screen acts like a film that covers all the screen except a fine what-couple inches maybe or less at the top and either way, there's no command or input as if the grey screen sealed it up. I thought i fixed the problem when i tried the one suggestion on other search of the Windows key control C and fooled myself, i guess, when restarted and it seemed to be "fixed" or not appearing the rest of the night yesterday. HOWev...it's back.
So, I'm down for suggestions; i have brand new Dell HDMI monitor and as far as that goes, my computer is new-used, or i just got it and the drivers of graphics have been updated on Intel & Dell and so well....
Thanks all the same and in advance too.

Well thank you Jocelyn.
I've taken a snap shot snip of the actual device manager's properties of the graphics info.
