Hi, I’m facing issues using latest graphic drivers 27.20.100.8778 on Dell latitude 7470. Screen flickers, downgrade of drivers does not help, have anyone faced something similiar?
Issue goes away if using “dummy” ms driver.
Using Win Pro 64 bit
Version 2004
OS build 19041.508

Hello Andrius,
Thank you very much for the information, and to share the fix here in this community. As the driver was not downloaded from an Intel* website I would like to check it internally.
I'll post back as soon as I have updates to share. Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Maria R.

Hello Andrius,
Thank you for patiently waiting.
After checking this internally I can confirm that the best course of action is to report this directly to Dell, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). There seems to be a conflict with the drivers we supply (generic ones) and the laptop configuration, suspecting it could be with the VBIOS (Video BIOS) or the Display power settings, which are both OEM specific.
If the drivers that are supplied by Dell still show the issue then it is a good indication the issue is with the laptop itself since those drivers were validated and tested by Dell.
The last recommendation we can provide would be a clean Operating System installation without loading any 3rd party apps (i.e. just the OS and drivers) and re-test, that is because we have seen conflicts with OEM apps such as Dell's Display Monitor and similar that create issues that are system-specific.
I will proceed to close this thread; if you have additional questions or need further assistance, please create a new thread and we will gladly assist you.
Best regards,
Maria R.
