HD Graphics 3000 on Dell XPS15 L502X JPEG/PNG bug?

I been having this ongoing problem and Dell has not been much help online but my GPU driver was recently updated to the latest 9.17.10.3517 and when I go to Facebook.com or S7gaming.com the icons (PNG) and sometimes the pictures in wall posts (JPEG) don't show up instead theyre just a solid-colored square.

Please help. I tried to change my default GPU but on Internet Explorer under the NVIDIA Control panel its greyed out and wont let me choose the NVIDIA GPU for Internet Explorer.

I understand you have problems with PNG or JPEG pictures when installing driver version 3517.

I have tested latest video driver 3517 but I did not have same issue. I had tried with Internet Explorer 11.

It sounds like this is a browser problem; please try Firefox, Chrome, etc.

I don't think the problem is with IE because on my desktop PC, I don't have any issues and the GPU on there is from NVIDIA. The problem does go away when I use Chrome though on my laptop so I still believe its driver-related.

Thanks for the information.

If there is an issue with drivers, you will still notice issues when using Chrome. At this point, try using different browsers as it appears to be an issue with your operating system (IE).
