HD3000 Driver Performance Comparison

Comparing i5-2500k with HD3000 onboard graphics driver version 8.15.10.2266 with latest official driver 8.15.10.2361. Tested in 1280x1024 (except Mafia 2/Just Cause 2 1024x768, Final Fantasy 1280x720, Riddick 1280x960) with various game settings. Update: added 8.15.10.2401

2430 doesn't have the HAWX 2 corruption issue anymore. General performance similar to the 2418.

Yes it's true, it solved some bugs. But Final Fantasy is lagging again and therefore lost 90 points in the Benchmark *grml*.

I'm considering buying the 2011 13" mbp with the intel hd 3000 video card. I've been trying to find out for over 2 weeks if final fantasy xiv will function on the mbp or not. Can you please clear this up for me?

I can only speak for the XIV Benchmark Demo. 8.15.10.2408 and 8.15.10.2418 are two working drivers. All other drivers are much slower and stutter like hell.

Are the benchmark scores the one you have on the list? 686, 709, 844? Does the game work well on low settings on those drivers or does it work poorly?

Results are scoring based. With 800-900 I would say it's around 15 fps. I can't change graphics settings with the Benchmark Demo. I can choose between Full HD and HD resolution. In case the Benchmark Demo is using high details you might be able to play the game with low/medium details, otherwise not.
