I have a Dell E7240 with the HD4400. It came with a 12.5 display running at 1920x1080. Does anyone know if I can drive an external display at WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution? Thanks.

Thank for the information added.
Jerry, from our end there is not an official list of the supported resolutions since each resolution result will depend on your BIOS configuration, EDID of the T.V and custom resolution created by your computer manufacturer, however; we can provided you with the maximum display resolution and from our documentation the highest resolution based on your graphics controller is 3200 x 2000 where 2560 x 1440 is under that parameter, here you can check more details https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/quick-reference-guide-to-intel-processor-graphics/ Quick Reference Guide for Intel® Core™ Processor Graphics | Intel® Developer Zone. At this stage my recommendation is to contact first your computer manufacturer in order to make sure that your device can support this specific resolution, like mentioned before the processor itself should be able to support this resolution but there are some variables that can affect this resolution.
Regards.
