Hi!
I have a Panasonic TX-65AXW804 UHD TV and I connected it via displayport to my pc.
The problem is that with UHD (3840x2160) resolution I can only select 60Hz. But the TV can also 24Hz and so on.
At 1920x1080 I can select all refresh modes but the TV stays black.
When I switch the displayport to SST on the TV side, I can select all modes correctly according to the specs:
All FullHD modes and UHD at 30Hz (maximum for single stream) and it works.
With older drivers, the PC show me the TV as 2 different Monitors.
So it looks like the driver dont detect the TV correctly in MST mode.

Noup. Its not the same problem. 3840x2160@60Hz IS working correctly! LOWER freuqencies are not available. Thats my problem!
The other problem is that all 1920x1080 modes not working correctly (Screen stays black, wrong signal). With older driver they are working correctly
(1080p60/50/24).

@ Seppdog, could you please provide the full EDID data from your display? You can use a tool such as the free one provided by EnTech found here:

.
Thanks

New driver, same problem...
Why is it so hard to fix a simple EDID problem!?
My old notebook with Ivybridge gets the correct information from the TV. With the complete same setup.
I dont understand this....

Hi Seppdog
For some reason the EDID you posted was truncated. Could you try this please? Open a Command Prompt window and run "dispdiag" and post the data file created here. I will be able to get full EDID info from it.
Thanks
Robert

Hi!
I'am waitng now for more than one year!!! for a solution!
At the moment I have the latest hd graphigcs driver installed, but I have always the same problem:
Via Displayport MST I can not show 4k content in all refreshrates (60p/50p/24p). Its definitely a EDID problem.
How long I have to wait for a correct working driver?
kind regards

Hi Seppdog
The Debug Engineer is asking for some info let me know what the result is. Pass/Fail - Same/Different
- Use current release driver on Intel.com (15.36 4332 as of 4/14/16)
- Connect only the 4k TV in MST mode
- Check both CUI and OS Display Properties to see if 3840x2160 23\24Hz are missing
- Recapture Dispdiag logs
- Check if there are any firmware updates for their TV on the manufacturer's websites.

I cant do the testing procedure.
I have installed the .4332 driver, switched the TV to Displayport MST and the TV stays black.
So, I dont know if the 24p option is missing on CUI and OS and also I cant send you the dispdiag logs...

Thanks, is there a newer firmware for the television? Which are you currently using?
Do you have two DP cables plugged in to support MST?
