Hello,
I was wanting to know how many monitors I can connect to my HP ZBook Firefly 14 G7 Laptop with or without the Laptop Display screen / lid closed. I have a HP USBC G5 Essential Dock that has 2 x DisplayPort inputs and 1 x HDMI input. The laptop also has 1 x HDMI input. I would like to connect all 3 x HPE24 G4 monitors. So far using the HP USBC G5 Essential Dock, I have connected 2 of the HPE24 G4 monitors using DisplayPort connection and 1 HPE24 G4 monitor using HDMI into the dock.
I was able to get all 3 HPE24 G4 monitors working however the monitor conected via the HDMI cable was very poor resolution (720 x 576). When I opened the display settings on the laptop it showed the 2 HPE24 G4 monitors connected via DisplayPort in large squares and the HPE24 G4 monitor connected via HDMI in a small square!
Can anyone offer any assistance that will enable me to successfully connect all 3 HPE24 G4 monitors at full resolution with or without the Laptop Display screen / lid closed. Thanks
