Driver seems to not want to properly & cleanly un-install & could use some help as to how to fix this.
UN-INSTALL PROCESS BEING DONE:
1. Uninstall: "Intel Driver & Support Assistant"
2. open "Device Manager" & under: "Display adapters",
right click over: "Intel(R) HD Graphics 520" & select: "uninstall"
[manually checking box for: "Delete the driver software for this device."]
3. a. Restart the laptop.
3. b. Verify that driver has been properly uninstalled by opening:
"Device Manager" & under: "Display adapters", & it should read:
"Microsoft Basic Display Adapter"
4. Re-install: "Intel Driver & Support Assistant",
Load: "Intel Driver & Support Assistant", & see if any updates are available by program being forced open in the default web browser.
ON MY END, via my browser, after loading: "Intel Driver & Support Assistant",
THIS IS WHAT I SEE:
TAKE NOTE OF THE DATE
I think it should reflect when u have installed the driver / if u re-install it, it should reflect with the updated date.
THE DATE SHOWING UP:
