Hello I have a problem while encoding using quick sync, my graphic card usage keeps spike every 5 sec from 20% to 100%. It makes my computer stutter. Please kindly advise. Thank you.

Are you saying you do not have intel graphics, just nvidia graphics? If so, you need to be contacting nvidia. It looks like from the specifications at ASUS that you only have nvidia graphics.

 

Only 4GB RAM? If you are running Windows 10, 1909, that is awful low memory.

intel graphics 620 with nvdia mx 940. I'm seeing like some kind of bug tht spikes up my gpu usage for 0.5 sec every 4-5 sec

Are you using both the intel and nvidia driver from ASUS?

Confirm that you are running Windows 10 1909.

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

 

Do you still need assistance? if so please generate the following reports:

 

1. Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) 

Intel® SSU Download link 

Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View". 

Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View". 

To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save". 

  

2. DXDIAG 

Go to Start > Run or Windows Key + R. 

On the Run prompt, type "dxdiag" then click OK. 

On the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window, click on Save All Information. 

Browse to a folder, type in a filename then click Save. 

 

Please share screenshots of the GPU usage.
