Hi i have a Hp pavilion dv6-2155 laptop my options say i have a intel graphics media accelerator HD graphics card but when i search the websites i can not find the right driver. i am currently running on windows 7 home 64 bit. i tried using the websites tool to figure out what my graphics card is but it keeps failing saying that im behind a firewall or my security is blocking it and tells me to manually download something. i did do that and it didnt do anything after i clicked it. I tried re downloading and re clicking file but it download but still doesn't run correctly. i recently went to the HP website and downloaded drivers for my laptop but they were out of date to my last drivers and they also caused even more video lag then it did before. I downloaded the drivers on this http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/15528/ Intel HD Graphics Media Accelerator Driver 15.22.50.2509 for Windows Vista/7 Download - TechSpot but it says my computer does not meet requirements or something like that.

Hi rocky,

Since you're using an HP system, I would recommend using their drivers as well. Here's the link to the support site for your system; http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=4121236# N337 http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=4121236# N337

I recommend installing both the Intel® chipset driver, as well as the graphics driver.

Thanks,

-Nic

Hello,

According to your Original Equipment Manufacturer's web site on the technical specifications for this computer

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01860375.pdf http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01860375.pdf

(page 7 of the pdf file)

Your system uses a third party video controller not an Intel® product.

So I suggest that you check directly with your Original Equipment Manufacturer for further assistance on updating the drivers for your computer. For your convenience you may use the following links for drovers and contact information:
