How do I adjust the size of my array after increasing drive sizes?

I have mirrored hard drives. When one drive failed I replaced it with a 500 gb drive; the original drive was a 250 gb. After the system automatically rebuilt the new drive I replaced the other drive with a 500 gb and allowed it to automatically rebuild. The problem: the system sees the drives as 500 gb but the array only sees them as 250 gb. How do I adjust the array size to reflect the actual drive capacity?
