Hi,
Dell released new Inspiron 15 5000 and I would like to know how the new HD Graphics 620 is running games. I have a Xbox One, but I'm a fan of flight simulation, so I would like to know if this new graphic card could run games like Flight Simulator X or IL2 Battle of Stalingrad (require GeForce GTX 660/Radeon HD 7770 ).
I looked at the other available card AMD R7 M445, but it's saying it run games around 10 FPS at low settings.
I'm looking at something that can run stuffs like Battlefield 4 (which I think is a great base, since Flight Simulator and Il2 are less demanding graphically) at high settings.
Or I will just wait for new laptops for gamings.
Thank you

Hello nic727,
I would like to share with you the following link; https://gameplay.intel.com/HardwareGames/95443/Intel%C2%AE%20Core%E2%84%A2%20i5-7200U%20Processor%20(3M%20Cache,%20up%20to%203.10%20GHz) Hardware Games , there you will find the games optimized for this graphics controller. Battlefield 4 is included in the list, you will find the recommended settings for this game and others. I have a machine with a 7th gen i5 and an HD 620. I am seriously impressed with how well it plays games. I'm playing most of them in 1280x720 at medium to low graphics, but getting very respectable frame rates and they look great!
The only thing I can't get at least 30fps out of is Gears of War 4. Maybe an updated driver will help, but I can't seem to get updated drivers yet. If there's anyone from intel who can point me in the direction of beta drivers I would appreciate it!

Nerdcore70 thank you for your input.
In regard to the drivers, the right place find drivers is https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Drivers & Software so my recommendation is to keep on checking https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Drivers & Software for future driver releases.
Regards,
Amy.
