I have computers running Windows 8.1 Pro entered in an Active Directory domain controller.
The machine wallpaper is only in black.
At first I thought it was some Active Directory configuration, but when uninstalled the video driver wallpaper reappeared, but when I restarted the machine the wallpaper is all black.
This problem only occurs in Windows 8.1 with this video driver.
Any suggestions how to fix this problem?

Could you please reply with your system model and processor model?
Please try uninstalling the driver and then reinstalling it and after that reboot your system.
Could you please provide us with your graphics report?
Go to Intel® Graphics and Control Panel > Options > information Center > Save.
Also, I will appreciate if you can post the msinfo32.
- Please press Windows Key + R to open the Run Menu
- Type msinfo32 and click OK
- While viewing the System Summary node go to File then Save (Please do not use Export)
- Save your MSINFO32 report as msinfo32.nfo on your desktop for easy access and then you can post it here.
Regards!

I appreciate you have replied with that information, from my we have not seen similar issues like this or other customers experiencing this issue.
Have you tried contacting Microsoft to see if they can help you with this issue?
One question, are you using Hyper-V for the virtual machine?
From my end what I can do is to escalate this case to find out if there is a way we can help you.
Regards!

Ivan,
I opened a case on the Microsoft TechNet, but the solutions did not correct the problem reported.
As I told you, I think that is any inconsistency with this driver because Windows 7 wallpaper is applied usually only on Windows 8.1 Pro with the Intel driver you are experiencing these problems.

I'm sorry but I still don't understand if the black screen that you get is in your computer or a virtual machine that you're using?
Do you get an error code?

Let me try to explain better.
I have an Active Directory server installed in our company.
This machine is having problems is not a virtual machine, it is a physical workstation. She is applying the GPO's Domain normally, but the bottom GPO wallpaper does not appear, it is a part of all black wall. So when I uninstalled the driver, or updated, the wallpaper I set the GPO appeared that workstation, but when I restart the machine will become a black wallpaper.
This only happens on Windows 8.1 Pro with Intel this driver, so my suspicion as to compatibility issues with this driver

Please let me do some more research about this issue and if I find a solution I will post it here.
The Intel® graphics driver that you have installed was downloaded from the Intel website or it is the one provided by your computer manufacturer, if yes, have you tried reinstalling the one from your computer manufacturer to see if that can help you any better?
