I can't access multiple display mode. i can only see 'single display mode'. when i connect the HDMI cable, laptop goes black. When i disconnect the cable i see 'clone display and extended display' then they disappear after a second.

Get a better HDMI cable. If it still does not work, contact your laptop manufacturer for support of THEIR laptop.
