I bought a laptop with intel i5 12500H and it is supposed to come with iris graphics but everywhere it just shows as if it has UHD graphics, my laptop model is ASUS X1605ZA-MB843W

In order to get better information about your system, please download the Intel System Support Utility (SSU). Run the SSU scan (check "Everything") and save the results. The .txt file with the results please attach to your post.

Did you install the graphics driver from Asus?
Are you using single ram module?
I checked the technical specifications

I found that Intel Iris Xe Graphics
*Intel Iris Xᵉ Graphics is only available in models with Intel® Core™ i5/i7/i9 processors and dual-channel memory.

I only have 8GB RAM, so if I add an additional 8GB RAM to my laptop, will I have Iris graphics?

I dont have your model laptop, so i cant say if you added extra ram module
I have asus laptop i5 7200u Intel HD graphics preinstalled ram 8GB, i added extra ram 8GB same brand same frequency.
