You should be able to downgrade you drive by going into the device directly and install a new driver and point to the one you downloaded
Note you must go to "Advanced Windows Update" and click the "Defer Updates" checkbox, or Win10 will continually overwrite your driver

I downgraded three versions and they still didn't work (back to Jan 2015). Thanks for the advice on not letting Windows 10 upgrade randomly, but I need one that works first!

AlbertS, please look carefully. I have tried to install this "Iris" driver. It does not include the Intel HD 4000. It does have the 4200, 4600, etc. but not support for the 3rd gen HD 4000.

I specifically have the 3920XM cpu. I don't know what CPUs are used by the rest of this thread.

I have done this several times. It still lists the 5 June release of the HD graphics 4000 as the latest driver, and this doesn't work.

Right click on desktop> Graphics Properties> Options>Drop Down Menu> Information Center> Save> Attach using

This is the same driver I tried to use before ***.4256. It still doesn't work. Allen, thanks for your comment and the reference to the other forum. I look forward to Intel bring out a new driver for us
