Hi,

After installing my newly purchased Arc B580 Asrock steel legend card then inserting hdmi cable with the card after switching on the system the graphic card is not dispalying anything and the graphic card's fans are spinning in full speed and after changing the hdmi from graphic card to motherboard display is showing and in device manager no graphic card is detecting.

However if I pull out the hdmi cable and switching on then the graphic card is running normally and after booting when inserting hdmi cable the display is also coming from graphic card and in device manager also graphic card detected.

Latest driver is installed correctly.

Pls help me with this.

Regards,

Sourav

Hi Sourav2025,

Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. To assist us in investigating the issue, please provide the following details:

  1. Have you checked the BIOS settings to ensure that the primary display output is set to the PCIe slot where the Arc B580 is installed?
  2. Have you tried using a different HDMI cable or port to rule out any potential issues with the cable or port?
  3. When the graphics card is not detected, are there any error messages or warnings in the Device Manager?
  4. Although you mentioned that the latest driver is installed, it might be helpful to perform a clean driver uninstall using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and then reinstall the latest drivers.
  5. Have there been any recent changes to your system configuration that might have affected the graphics card's performance?
  6. If possible, could you test the graphics card on another system to see if the issue persists?

Additionally, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your system, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This tool will generate a text file compiling all your system information. You can follow the instructions at this link and send the text file here. Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility.

If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.
