Hi,
I have a Lenovo E15 Gen 2 Laptop (ThinkPad). I am facing the problem with update on either one of following Intel display driver updates.
- Intel® Arc™ Graphics Windows* DCH Driver (31.0.101.3959) (Latest by Intel)
- Intel UHD Graphics Driver (31.0.101.3413) (Latest by Lenovo Approved)
Whenever I update the driver to any of above-mentioned versions, my laptop screen starts to flicker extremely fast and almost turns black until I restart it again. I have observed that this screen flicker and blackout happens only with only specific apps. For example, it happens when I am using Microsoft Chromium based Edge, and while using Windows built-in Sticky Notes. If I manage to minimize these apps during driver update, laptop screen stays alive and visible until I maximize one the mentioned apps. As soon as I maximize, problem starts again.
Only solution for now I have is to roll back to driver version 30.0.101.1122. Which is working fine for now.
Windows Details:
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 22H2
OS build 22621.963
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22638.1000.0
