On 2024/08/24 I attempted to disable the RGB lights on a newly installed Arc A770 GPU.
All Intel documentation on the matter gives the link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/743675/intel-arc-rgb-controller.html
It is claimed that this link goes to the Intel Arc RGB Controller download. However, as of posting, this link falls back to the general Intel Software search page. Searching for the RGB controller gives no results: this software seems to have been removed.
Following online suggestions, I tried both OpenRGB and Coolermaster RGB software, both without success. After considerable searching, I found a dodgy download of the Intel RGB controller and took the risk! It worked fine, was easy to use, and allowed me to turn the lights off permanently. Obviously, I cannot link to the download that I used on this forum.
My question is: are Intel going to make the Arc RGB Controller software available again?

Dear Alfred,
I accepted Esteban's solution quite a while ago. Your notifications about this post may be triggering incorrectly.
Indeed, as per my original post, I solved the issue myself: no course of action beyond the restoration of the software is necessary.
Best,
Theo
