Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows* -Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6557/32.0.101.6262

I will just get straight into it, I use the Huawei MateBook D14 i7 11gen. I have been getting updates from the intel driver support assistant and I normally update the Wi-Fi drivers and bluetooth drivers etc., but last year I got a WHQL update and I thought it was better not to update it, as when I pressed install, it gave a warning that it might remove customisations by the computer manufacturer (OEMs), so I did not install it and hid it. I then checked from Huawei (my manufacturer) for updates but there were no updates. Now recently I got this Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows update, and I noticed my laptop not responding as effectively as it should when using web browsers, insignificant, though consequently it made me think it may be due me not updating the drivers, which got me worried. Here I am now confused whether to update my drivers or not as this update also says it might remove customisations from my laptop but if I do the normal installation process it would not, though I am still not convinced and require the help of a professional on this matter. Additionally, what do I do if I get more updates like these in the future?
Thanks in advance

Hi VroX

Regarding your inquiry about whether to use Intel drivers or those provided by your OEM (Huawei), we recommend opting for the OEM drivers. While Intel offers generic drivers compatible with all Intel-related products, OEMs often customize their drivers to better suit their specific devices. These customizations may include feature enhancements, optimizations, or other modifications that ensure optimal performance and compatibility with your device.

Should you have other questions or concerns, please let me know.

Hey Jed G. ,

I went to the link provided by you, but it seems I cannot find my OEM (Huawei) in the given list. Would you please assist me with that?
