Trying to install the following:

Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows*

Description:
This download installs Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6559 (WHQL Certified) for Intel® Arc™ B-Series Graphics, Intel® Arc™ A-Series Graphics, Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics, and Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors with Intel® Arc™ Graphics.
Version:  32.0.101.6559
Release date:  February 10, 2025
Size:  907.02 MB
I've had 3 errors so far:
  • Installation failed with error code 300840
  • Installation failed with error code 37720
  • Installation failed with error code 251040
Trying the installation via a batch file command as follows:
start runas /user:**bleep** "cmd /k F:\Trash\Intel\%1 -p"
System details attached.
Last question, does the system HAVE to be restarted after every update please, and could this be causing the errors due to the '-p' option added to the installation?

According to attached report, you have a newer driver installed in your system: version 32.0.101.6651 dated 18 Mar 2025 (this is the latest driver). If you are trying to downgrade this driver, execute use clean installation method.

Hi,

I'm not trying to downgrade, it's just that I keep getting this message popping-up on my W11 every week

That's why I needed to know what the 3 errors were on about in Feb '25.

Also why is the latest update not showing on the "Intel Driver & Support Assistant"

Also, does anyone know if the systems HAVE to be restarted after every update please, and could this be causing the errors due to the '-p' option added to the installation?

Update, this is what I keep getting - as you can see the date & timestamp on this message

Thank you.

In order to get better information about your system, please download the Intel System Support Utility (SSU). Run the SSU scan (check "Everything") and save the results. The .txt file with the results please attach to your post.

1. On Mar 27 2025, Intel released a new version of driver: Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6653. Download this driver to your drive.

2. Turn OFF IDSA Graphics Driver notification

3. Open Local Group Policy and disable drivers update from Windows. In the referenced article, you may find two other methods for disabling driver update from Windows. Since you have Windows 11 Pro, in my opinion,  editing Group Police is the best method.

4. Install previously downloaded Graphics Driver and reboot your computer.
