Intel® Clear Video HD Technology vs Intel® Clear Video Technology for MID

Does anyone know the difference between the two? I'm trying to decide between 2955u and G3240 for HTPC use, and see this difference.

Thanks for your patience, I just got a response from engineering. At this point, Intel® Clear Video Technology for MID does not exist. This is a mistake they are currently working with ark.intel.com people to correct it. This type of technology should say Intel® Clear Video Technology.

Thanks so much Allan for the timely reply. One final question - is there a difference b/w with Intel® Clear Video Technology and Intel® Clear Video HD Technology? I hope they both mean the same.

They are both same technology. Some people call it Intel® Clear Video Technology and some others Intel® Clear Video HD Technology.
