Hello SkyDarkness
Thank you for your patience in this matter.
Regarding your inquiry, we would like to inform you that Gen9 (i.e. Graphics powering 6th through 9th generation Intel processors) is the last generation of the software-based vGPU solution GVT-G (Intel® Graphics Virtualization Technology –g).
Intel’s direction is hardware solution of SR-IOV from Intel® Iris® Xe and newer. SR-IOV (Single Root IO Virtualization) is a new virtualization feature supported in hardware starting from Intel® Iris® Xe and in some of our discrete cards.
For any other inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us back.
