Intel Corporation - Display - 31.0.101.2115 issues

I just installed the updated driver on my surface laptop.  I use both the computer display and an additional Dell AW3821 DW.  Since the update, Windows 11 has had trouble finding the laptop's display using Windows 11.  A hard reset of the laptop temporarily fixes the problem, but it comes back after shut down.  Is this an issue Intel has seen with the updated driver?
