Streamlining DSA - "passive" install options?

Hi, just thinking as I run through DSA for the countless time... 😄

I was wondering if it'd be possible for Intel DSA to possibly:

  • run driver updates in "passive" mode instead of the constant 'next, next, next' "loud" installer?
Other option that might be handy for sysadmins, too:

  • make it easier to get the cached MSI/EXE that gets downloaded for the computer?
  • EG: provide an option to download but not run the installers (preferably MSI based for ease of scripting) then store them in a certain folder for later re-use?
Just some thoughts I wanted to share before I forget again...

Thanks!

Sure. Right. I asked for this capability (i.e., silent install) even before IDSA first went online.

Sigh!
