Hello there, recently I upgraded my Lenovo Ideapad 320 for a Ideapad S145. I use a 29' Inch LG Ultrawide display to work at home, and it was running fine with 2560x1080 resolutions on my old notebook.

But after I get this new, I can't config to the correctly Resolution, the max setting allowed is 1920x1080. I tried many ways to make this configurations, I tried to upgrade de Intel Graphics Driver, and tried to add a custom resolutions. the Graphic Card is the same from Ideadpad 320 and S145, so I don't know what I should do to fix that. Can someone help me?

If I can't find a solution, I think I will need to get my old notebook back, since part of my productity comes from using this set-up for multi-tasking purposes. Thanks

Which Ideapad do you have?  Some have amd processors.

So the Intel support engineers can have more information about your system, Download, run, and save the results of this utility as a text file:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility

Then ATTACH the text file using the instructions under the reply window ( Drag and drop here or browse files to attach ).

Doc (not an Intel employee or contractor)

For some reason the TXT file is not displaying on the Drag and Drop system.

Hello there, I still have the same Issue.

I aready upgrade de drivers all the time, search everywhere, and I still don't find any answer, since my oldest Lenovo works perfectly with my ultrawide display, but this new doesn't.

Also I have a Desktop which works fine with the same display, so I really don't know what I need to do just to reach the correct resolution,

Thanks.

Guimbitencourt, Thank you very much for your response, we will be more than glad to assist you in trying to fix this problem.

We are sorry to hear the issue still persists after all the drivers were updated, at this point what we need is to confirm the details about the platform that you are using, so, please provide the SSU report, once you run the report it will allow you to save the information as a text file so you can attach it by drag and drop to this thread, it should be working now:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-?product=91600

We will also need the Intel® Graphics report from your system, please run it while the monitor in question is attached to the new computer, you will also be able to save it as a text file as well to post it on this forum:

Any questions, please let me know.

Guimbitencourt, Thank you very much for providing the picture and the Intel® Graphics report.

Based on the Intel® Graphics report we can confirm that in fact the 29' Inch LG Ultrawide display supports the 2560x1080 resolution. We can also see in the SSU picture, that the Graphics driver being used is version 27.20.100.9126.

Just to let you know, we always recommend to install the graphics driver provided by the manufacturer of the computer, since that driver was customized by them to work with your specific platform.

I looked in Lenovo's web site and actually, the latest Graphics driver they have available in there is version 26.20.100.7870, please try a clean installation of that driver following the instructions in the link below:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057389/graphics.html

https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/ideapad-s-series-netbooks/s145-15iwl/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Display%20and%20Video%20Graphics

If the problem persists after that, then try a clean installation again this time of the latest Intel® Graphics driver for the Intel® UHD Graphics 620 controller which is version 27.20.100.9168 and once you get the chance, please let us know the results:
