Hello,
After I made the mistake of clicking this app, Intel Graphics Command Center, it somehow got installed. Now every single time my Laptop starts, the screen colors (the brightness) darken. As if I've installed a dark theme package, everything gets darker.
I believe the app installed something else alongside it (a PowerShell script ran on startup and immediately closed?), because even after completely uninstalling it (with Uninstalr) the problem continued to persist.
For me to fix it, a bandage solution, I'd have to open the app, go to Display section, Color, and affect any slider or click the "Restore to Original Colors" button. It's not permanent, I'd have to do it again after startup. This is very irritating.
Thanks.

Make sure your graphics driver is up to date. However, whats the model of your processor and computer?

Thank you for the reply,
It's not an issue related to adaptive brightness because it's already turned off, and I don't see a Display Power Savings option anywhere in the IGCC app.
My Graphics Driver is up to date, and I even reinstalled it but the issue still persists. It's a LENOVO Legion Pro 5, Core i9-14900HX.

Hello Inteer,
Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.
For me to further check this, please help provide the following details:
- Can you share video of the issue?
- Please provide the SSU logs of your system. Please refer to the link below on how to generate the SSU.

Hello
Try this
Intel Graphics Command Center may have altered display settings, particularly the brightness or color profile, which persists even after uninstalling. Here are a few steps to address the issue:
Check for Adaptive Brightness: Go to Settings > System > Display and look for options related to "Adaptive Brightness" or "Automatic Color Adjustments." Disable any such features as they may adjust your screen based on ambient lighting or content.
Reset Intel Graphics Settings: Although you've uninstalled the app, some settings might still be active. Reinstall the Intel Graphics Command Center, reset all settings to default, and then uninstall it again to ensure no residual changes remain.
Graphics Driver Reinstallation: Uninstall the current graphics driver, reboot your laptop, and reinstall the latest driver from the manufacturer's website. This can reset any changes made by third-party applications.
Windows Color Calibration: Search for Color Calibration in the Windows search bar and go through the steps to adjust your screen’s color settings back to your preference. This can override any previous adjustments.
Startup Check: Use Task Manager (press Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to review any startup applications that might be affecting display settings. Disable suspicious entries that might be linked to Intel or graphics settings.
Restore from a System Restore Point: If you have a restore point saved from before the app installation, consider using System Restore to revert to that state, which can undo system-level changes.
This should help resolve the issue and restore the display settings to normal.

@iu360 How much time do you spend in chatGPT to develop these answers?
