ThingPad E15 Gen2 (i7-1165G7 with Iris Xe & MX450)

1. In Clone mode cannot set different resolution for second display. (Changing Display 1 resolution change also Display 2 resolution and opposite also.)

2. In Clone mode cannot set custom HDMI scaling, presets are useless, Custom preset menu missing.

3.In Single external display mode, in non-recomended resolution cannot set custom HDMI scaling, Custom preset menu missing. (only in Recomended native resloution wich is half what the TV can do, I can select Custom scaling)

Hello Ibambus10,

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities.

Regarding the Clone feature, it is normal behavior to set the identical resolution on the monitor when using the clone feature, as the mode sends the same:

  • Content
  • Resolution
  • Color depth

About the HDMI scaling. The function has been limited on build 1.100.2765.0, and scale options are no longer available. If you would like to gather more information about the update, please visit the following article:

Also, I want to confirm what you mean by "Custom preset." Are you looking for an option where you could save different profiles?
