Intel Graphics Command Centre not saving colour settings

Over the past few week, my colour settings are not saving within the Command Centre. They keep reverting to the default value when my laptop is restarted.

I have tried uninstalling the Command Centre and Graphics Driver, and then reinstalling them, but it does not appear to fix the issue.

I am running an Asus Expertbook Laptop with Windows 11. 

I suffer with migraine headaches so I have my laptop switched to quite low contrast/brightness settings. This is causing all sorts of issues currently having to constantly reset the colours.

I have not had any issues until recently so unsure why the Command Centre is now not saving my settings.

Any idea's how I can fix this?

In order to have a better understanding of your issue, please provide me with the following:

 

IGCC Report: Follow these steps to generate an Intel® Graphics Driver report for the Intel® Graphics Control Panel or the Intel® Graphics Command Center. Report for Intel® Graphics Drivers.

 

SSU: Please download and scan your system using our tool, Intel® System Support Utility so we can help check your system info first. Once finished downloading, open the tool, click on scan 'Everything', click next, then save the system information to a .txt file. Please provide the .txt file.

This document will be necessary to check your entire system, in order to find possible errors or incompatibilities.

Please try the steps on the article - The Color of the Screen Changes After the Computer Restarts:


Resolution


1.  Select the Start button, then enter settings. Select Settings > System > Display.

2.  Click Windows HD Color setting

3.  Turn on Play HDR games and apps.


If the phenomenon does not improve, it may be a problem with the manufacturer's firmware, and it is recommended to contact the manufacturer.


On Asus Zenbook UX481FLY_UX481FL machines:

  • Open services.msc
  • Look for the Asus Optimization service
  • Disable and Stop running the service
  • Restart the PC

 

Even though it is not the same model, it is the same manufacturer, which could help.

Also, please check if you have any other default app from ASUS that can handle the colors or screen, so you can try to disable it and test.

Hi there. I tried all the above but nothing worked sorry. 

It's like whatever I set my levels to, they keep reverting back to "30" as per the screenshot after restarting.

Do you have any other idea's? If not then I'll contact Asus and see if they can assist.
