Intel Graphics Installer- Exit Code 8 - No driver was found that can be installed on device

Hello Everyone,

I have an HP Laptop that has Intel® HD Graphics 4400. I use Davinci Resolve 17 to create videos. I started having issues rendering my videos - it would render 3/4 of the video and then the render time remaining would escalate to days so I would force stop the program. After several times trying, I noticed that there was an update available for Davinci from version 17 to 18. I updated Davinci. Then I started getting the error "intel hardware accelerated decode and encode have been disabled as the current intel graphics driver is not compatible with davinci resolve. please update your drivers to enable this feature." After doing some research I found out that  since I have Intel® HD Graphics 4400, I needed to update the intel graphics. I went to the intel website and downloaded the latest version.

After downloading the driver installer, I tried to start the installation but instead of starting the installation, I received the error, "No driver was found that can be installed on the current device. Installer exit code: 8."

Does anyone have any idea as to how to solve this error?
